“Lochin” Volleyball Team Takes Step Toward Big League
The “Lochin” student volleyball team of Karshi State University has reached an initial agreement to participate in this year’s Uzbekistan Volleyball Championship. This was discussed during a meeting on January 25 with Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Major General Bekmurod Abdullayev, who visited Karshi State University. Currently, 30 students are actively engaged in volleyball training at the university, with 14 talented players undergoing intensive practice as part of the “Lochin” volleyball team. During the conversation with Bekmurod Abdullayev, it was noted that the Uzbekistan Volleyball Federation would provide practical support in preparing the team for training camps and enhancing the skills of their coaches. Following all necessary preparations, the “Lochin” team is expected to formally apply and receive approval to participate in the premier league championship. For reference, the current Minister of Internal Affairs, Lieutenant General Pulat Bobojonov, also serves as the Chairman of the Uzbekistan Volleyball Federation.
