Linguocultural Approach in Modern Linguistics: Problems and Solutions

INFORMATION LETTER

           In accordance with Order No. 490 of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 27, 2024, "On the approval of the plan for international and republican scientific and scientific-technical events for 2025," a Republican Scientific-Practical Conference on the topic "Linguocultural Approach in the Interpretation of Modern Linguistics: Problems and Solutions" will be held on November 25, 2025, at Karshi State University, organized by the Departments of Applied English and Linguistics.

Conference Directions:

  • Cultural foundations of linguistics;

  • Language and intercultural communication in the modern world;

  • Current issues in modern linguistics;

  • Methods of language teaching, the role of artificial intelligence in teaching, and practical issues in linguistics;

  • Literary relations and challenges in literary translation;

  • Issues in comparative and contrastive linguistics.

Working languages of the conference: Uzbek, Russian, English.

Requirements for Article Submission:

-The article must be edited and submitted on A4 paper with the relevant section title indicated. Line spacing should be 1.5, with margins set to 2.5 cm on the top and bottom, 3 cm on the left, and 1.5 cm on the right. Articles are accepted in both printed and electronic formats.

-The electronic version must be prepared in Microsoft Word using Times New Roman font, size 12.

-The title of the article should be written in uppercase letters. One line below, the author's first and last name and organization name should be indicated. At the end of the text, a list of references should be provided. The author is personally responsible for the accuracy and reliability of the information provided.

-The file name should include the organization name and the author's last name (e.g., if the author is from Karshi State University, the file should be named "KarSU A.Rustamov").

-The abstract and keywords must be provided in Uzbek, Russian, and English.

 The conference materials will be posted on the university's website and sent to the authors.

 Deadline for submission of materials: November 20, 2025.
 Conference date: November 25, 2025. Participation is possible in both in-person and remote formats.

         The collection of conference materials will be published at the expense of the authors (cost: 20,000 UZS per page). Payment can be made in cash or via bank transfer to the following account: 8600 1404 9500 3072 (Dilfuza Raimovna Pardaeva). Electronic collections will be provided free of charge to remote participants.
