Biography

Abdulkhamid Erkinovich Kholmurodov was born on March 2, 1974, in the Koson district of Kashkadarya region. He graduated from Karshi State University in 1996 and is a Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (DSc), Professor. Abdulkhamid Kholmurodov began his career in 1996 as a systems engineer-programmer at the Information Technology Center of Karshi State University. Until 2003, he served as the Director of the Information Technology Center (while also teaching at the Department of Informatics), and later as Head of the Internet and Distance Learning Department of the university’s Computer Center (also teaching at the Department of Information Technology and Mathematical Modeling).

In 2003-2004, he worked as a trainee at the Institute of Cybernetics of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan. Since 2004, he has held various roles at Karshi State University, including Deputy Director of the Information Technology and Distance Learning Center, Director of the Information Technology Center, Acting Vice-Rector for Financial and Economic Affairs, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Informatics, Associate Professor, Head of the Department, and Dean of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics.

Since February 16, 2021, he has been serving as the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs.
